For: Under 5’s and their carers
When: Monday mornings 9.30 – 11.15 am (term time)

We host a lively session each week, where Parents, Carers, and Grandparents bring their preschool-aged toddlers and babies to a morning of play and fun. Newcomers are always very welcome.

We try to offer a varied programme for each session. We regularly include a craft table, story time, and singing spot, as well as a wide selection of toys suitable for pre-school children. If your child loves playing with trains, farms, cars, dressing up, jigsaws, puppets, pretend cooking, or pretend shopping, then come and let them play while you can get to know other parents and carers from the area. There are plenty of refreshments on offer, which are a perfect start to chatting with old friends or making new ones.

To try and keep costs at a minimum, we ask that you please make a donation of £1 per child per week. At the moment, we only accept cash. 

We run most weeks of school terms, with the exception of the first week of each term, when we toy clean. 

Feel free to drop in and stay as long as you like each week! If you live in the area and would like some company for yourself and an activity for your children, then ACORNS might be just for you. We’d love to meet you.
